And then July was half over and they would be back in school in just a few short weeks…Can you believe it?? Summers seriously go more quickly every year!
So, last week I made the rookie mistake of forgetting to put the roast in the crock pot! I find it hard to believe I am still doing that sometimes, but there it is. It messed up our schedule a bit, so there will be some duplicates this week.
Monday: Ham sandwiches…with pickles and onions and spinach and mustard–whatever you want! We’ll be helping to serve dinner for a local shelter and of course we can’t eat what we’re serving (except for the brownies and even though my daughter would swear that was a complete meal that’s not going to fly with me!)
Tuesday: Cookout time! Burgers and hotdogs, either potato salad or tater tots and brussel sprouts (along with a salad for me!)
Wednesday: Potato Chip Fish, rice pilaf, and a veggie
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Pizza–last week I found some vegan mozzarella and I got a new recipe for a almond flour crust! whoop!
Saturday: Tuna apple salad
Sunday: Baked potato bar with taco meat and other veggie yummy options
The princess wants dairy free/gluten free mac and cheeze (and I’ll be sharing the recipe!) for lunches and I’ll be having chicken soup with roasted salmon. Breakfasts will be bacon, potatoes, eggs, toast, or some such combo of things. I think I might make some waffles too.
