These are my feet. They were not at all happy with me Saturday after Trick-or-Treating for 2.5 hours in flip flops. In fact, they made their displeasure known quite loudly for a whole day with aching and whining and such. By Sunday night I wanted to find something/anything that would help!
After deciding pain pills wasn’t the answer I really wanted, I remembered my Lemongrass Foot Soak!
I gathered my hot water, added some herbal foot soak salts and sat quietly for 10-15 minutes. The next step was the walnut scrub. I used that to massage my feet a bit and also to get rid of some of the dead skin off the tops and bottoms of my feet. After rinsing that off I finally got to my favorite part: the peppermint foot balm! It smells exactly like York Peppermint patties and feels so good. I made sure to use just a little (last time I used quite a bit and ended up sliding across the kitchen floor!) and rubbed it in for a few minutes. It felt AMAZING. My feet felt better after soaking, but the peppermint took away the last bits of the aches and amazingly my feet have felt fine ever since! I don’t intend to wear such flimsy footwear for long treks again, but it’s nice to know I have a back-up in my drawer to help with any muscle aches!
